San Marino


San Marino is one of the smallest and oldest republics in the world. The current area of 61 km², defined in the 15th century, extends to the slopes of Monte Titano (750 m above sea level); it is located within the north-eastern area of Italy and is about 20 km from the Adriatic Sea.
